Kharn defeated Sigismund in their first fight during the Siege. Dorn is a good combatant but he isn't a 1v1 specialist like other Primarchs. He saw what its warriors had been turned into. It slides free, but the flesh around it is charring and powdering away to ash, which lifts on the unnatural breeze. An horror so terrible, it makes Kharn himself recoil. Imo, it’s pretty much a strength vs skill debate. Khârn froze. I always wanted an epic duel with Kharn and grimaldus to happen. Kharn vs Sigismund, for its formidable writing and the fact that it heralds the creation of the modern Imperium. As if he is already dead.
